Plot

Superboys of Malegaon is a film about a young man and his buddies who manage a video parlor with his elder brother and show movies to people. However, their video parlor is closing down because they are not screening certain films and are not making money. So he takes the risk of making his film despite having no budget. Will he be able to make the movie? Will he be able to prepare the budget? Will his debut picture be successful? Will all of his buddies back him in this project? Watch the film to know.

Acting and Characters

Adarsh Gourav delivers excellent acting as Nasir. He made his cinematic debut in Shahrukh Khan’s My Name Is Khan (2010), as Young Rizwan Khan. He has also worked on Mom (2017), starring Sridevi. Furthermore, he has also appeared in the globally recognized film The White Tiger, which was released in 2021, and the upcoming film Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, which will be released in 2023.

People may not know much about him, so I’ve mentioned a few of his most well-known films. In Superboys of Malegaon, he is shown as a self-centered individual. While watching his performance, it appears that he is acting with remarkable excellence. He made every effort to fully embody his persona. His character displayed every human emotions on television.

What can we say about Vineet Kumar Singh in his portrayal of Farogh? Recently, his film Chhaava was released, in which we saw his very strong and bright acting, and his performance in Superboys of Malegaon was also great. He portrayed an emotional persona uniquely. He traveled to Mumbai and was spotted attempting to become a film writer. Not only that, but he brought his character to life.

Shashank Arora has also done well in the role of Shafique. He has played good characters in films such as Titli (2014), Brahmarman (2016), Moothon (2019), and Made in Heaven (2019). He did an excellent job acting, and it is worth watching. Likewise, he has shown the grief and sorrow of having a major illness powerful. All the supporting performers give decent performances.

Direction

Reema Kagti directs the film “Superboys of Malegaon.” Before this, she directed Honeymoon Travels Pvt Ltd (2007), Talaash (2012), Gold (2017), and Dahaad (2023). All of these flicks gave her a different identity. Aside from that, she wrote the screenplay for Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (2011), Bombay Talkies (2013), Dil Dhadakne Do (2015), Gully Boy (2019), Made in Heaven (2019), Kho Gaye Hum Kahan (2023), and The Archies (2023).

The direction of Superboys of Malegaon is similar to her earlier works. She has a firm hold on the entire picture. Her reflection is visible in every department. She achieved excellent performances from all the performers, and Superboys of Malegaon was technically sound. She has filmed Superboys of Malegaon distinctive. He paid close attention to the technical details and depicted a true story uniquely on screen.

Story-Screenplay-Dialogue

Varun Grover wrote the story, screenplay, and dialogues for Superboys of Malegaon. The narrative demonstrates that everyone, regardless of size, weakness, or financial situation, has the right to dream and can go to any length to make it a reality. The screenplay is richly detailed and strong. The dialogue is primarily written in Urdu because the film is set in Malegaon, a Muslim-dominated city.

Cinematography

Swapnil Sonawane‘s cinematography in Superboys of Malegaon is stunning. The film was shot nicely. Camera angles were used effectively, and a variety of film shots were captured.

Editing

Anand Subaya‘s editing is extremely tight, and the pace is rapid. The Superboys of Malegaon doesn’t have any boring scenes.

Background score

Sachin-Jigar‘s background score perfectly complements the film’s theme and tone, touching the heart deeply.

Shafique Sheikh died of lung cancer in 2011 at the age of thirty. Farogh Jafri died in 2020, at the age of 45. Irfan Ilyas owns a business and continues to appear in films shot in Malegaon. Aleem Tahir, a published author, teaches Urdu in Mumbai. Akram Khan, a renowned producer in the Malegaon film industry, creates films through his YouTube channel. Nasir Shaikh and Shabeena continue to reside in Malegaon with their three children.
