Tone and Theme: The film’s tone is romantic action-oriented and the theme is love and war. It made solely for entertainment and to serve as a masala film.
Acting and Characters: Tiger Shroff stars in his first Hindi film as Bablu. He proved in his first film that he is a long-distance horse. He has proven to be the best in every aspect, including acting, dance, dialogue delivery, action, a gym-toned body, and body language. This is also Kriti Sanon‘s first Hindi film as Dimpy. She has also proven to be a long-distance horse. Whether it’s her acting or dancing skills, Costumes, facial expressions, she has worked extremely hard on everything. Prakash Raj also does an excellent job as Choudhary sahab, the father figure. He perfectly suited to expressions of strict, sharp, and angry faces. Everyone in the supporting cast does an adequate job of acting.
Written and directed by Sabbir Khan, this is his second directorial venture; his previous film, Kambakht Ishq (2009), starred Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor was mediocre. He improved this over the first; he has a firm grip on the entire production, and he was able to elicit excellent performances from everyone. The ending is also good. This is a remake of the Telugu film Paragu (2008); the story was written by Bhaskar and is based on the original film’s story trailer; the story has been adapted.
Screenplay and Dialogues: Sanjeev Dutta wrote a weak and loose screenplay, but the dialogues well written.
Cinematography: Hari K Vedantam’s cinematography is mediocre, though some scenes well shot.
Editing: Manan Sagar’s is okay, It has been dragged a bit, but the pace of the film is a little slow.
Production Design: Narendra Rahurikar’s is satisfactory.
Sound Design: Parikshit Lalwani and Kunal Mehta‘s work is also satisfactory.
Sonakshi Raj’s costume design in accordance with the film’s cast.
Sajid Wajid’s music is good; some songs, such as Raat Bhar, Tabah, Rabba, and Whistle Baja.
Kausar Munir’s lyrics are also acceptable.
The choreography of Ganesh Acharya, Ahmed Khan, and Raju Khan is good.
Climax: It’s well made.
Opinion: Those who enjoy watching action and romance films can see it once.
Flaws: What message do they want to give by raising their hands on an IPS officer? The first half is slow; the audience has to wait for 35 to 40 minutes to unite the boy and girl, but when they meet, an interval occurs.
There is no story in this one-hour film until the interval, other than to bring them together.
Message: Boys and girls should not elope and marry without their parents’ consent and after talking.
Before eloping, boys and girls should consider their parents’ potential defamation.
